Client: Veterinary Clinic, Melbourne, Australia
Cat: 2-year-old female Maine Coon, 5.2kg
Diagnosis: Dry FIP with neurological symptoms (hind leg weakness, tremors)
Background:
The clinic diagnosed the cat with dry FIP affecting the nervous system. Symptoms included tremors, poor coordination, and reluctance to walk. Traditional treatments showed no progress.
Treatment Plan:
Due to difficulty with injections, the clinic opted for GS‑441524 tablets (50 mg), given orally once per day. The cat received supportive care alongside antiviral treatment.
Progress:
Within 10 days, coordination improved, tremors reduced, and the cat began walking short distances. By week 6, all neurological symptoms had resolved.
Outcome:
After a full 84-day course, the cat made a complete neurological recovery. No recurrence was observed during the 3-month follow-up period.
Veterinarian Statement:
“GS‑441524 tablets provided a stress-free and highly effective treatment option. We now recommend it as our first-line FIP therapy.”
